What level of color blindness do you have ?

mine is red green the most common mine is very slight but has caused me problems not with wiring but the tests has stopped me getting certain jobs.

But for instance i can eaisly tell you what colors are on an aircraft navigation lights on aircraft at a few thousand feet up, but still fail the colour test.

i have no trouble with colours i just see those colors slightly darker than the normal color

you can defeat red green colour tests with a slight red tint on glasses

try the colour tests below then if there is a problem try lookin at the tests through a red filter.

It has to be pointed out though there may be a danger to yourself and others if your color blindness cause`s you to mistake a coloured lever or control in say a smoky envoiroment.

so please be carefull in trying to get round the problem, you may put yourself or others in danger

Clearly sharing your experience on how to manage this makes it a Good'un.

This isn't the first time that this problem has been addressed here but I would have to say that yours is one of the best responses. Good job!

While the original post was not really a question, your comment was a well considered and worded response. Truly a heartfelt effort to provide a valid point of view to the poster, adding some of your life experience to enrich his life experience. This forum (it seems to me) sometimes forgets the human element of what we do... not here at CR4, but as individual citizens of the world. This was a nice offering.

Once again, peterg7lyq, well done. (Missed ya while you were gone)
