Codes for Pumps/Compressor : Nuclear Plant

Dear Members,

Is there any international recognized code for machine ( pumps, turbines..) in Nuclear sector or if are valid the normal API rules with various amendment ?

Firstly, I have never worked in the nuclear field.

Pumps for the nuclear industry are usually to ASME Nuclear codes.

Many of the manufacturers of API 610 pumps also manufacture to the ASME N standards - People like Sulzer, Flowserve, etc etc, but API 610 is not applicable.

The MOD ( Ministery of Defence) have a code of prctise for this kind of application.
