08/11/2010 12:39 AM

I brought my a car for servicing, change engine oil, oil filter, spark plug, air filter, ATF oil. The mechanic told me the ATF filter cannot be replace without removing the gear-box. I was shock, i want to know how to replace the ATF filter

The best advice I can give is buy a service manual on-line or from a Honda dealer.

Another option would be to Google "Honda Stream 2.0 ATF filter replacement". If you don't get a good hit try different combinations of the words in quotes.

Good Luck!

Some of these parts replacement procedures are insane.

I had a 1968 (?) Jeep Wagoneer, and to replace the burned out instrument lights I had to remove the windshield! Screws to remove the dash and access the instrument cluster were in the windshield track. Not kidding.
