	Dear All Vendor has claimed that A106 gr.B can't be welded with API 5L X60, Since 1st one is PSL1 & other PSL2. PSL 2 requires impact testing & PSL1 doesn't require impact testing, as per my understanding it's not correct but i m looking for code reference to give reply. Regarding Pno. & Sno. 	Go ahead to weld the both materials without any claim, only if the fluid service with respect to low or very low temp. need an impact test, you have to proceed that impact test on a test coupon. I recommend you to prepare all WPS's & PQR's to satisfy yourself and others that your welding procedure and process is OK. __________________ It is better to be defeated on principles, than to win on lies!

	A106 Gr B which is rated to -29 Deg C and no impact testing is required for this.. Once you weld this to API 5L X60 the system is derated to -29 deg c because however low API 5L may be rated the assembly is only good for -29 Deg C. So it should be OK to weld if you recognize that the system is only good for -29 Deg C __________________ If you don't know where you are going,you are bound to get there
