Who was the first man deduced the nurbs formula? F or A? Who was the first man deduced the nurbs formula? F or A? I have two answer about the question. one is franchman worked in a car manufacture anoher is an american worked in boeyin plan co. all is in 50's last century. all is based on bezier curve. which is right answer?

i do not know the specific hystory of the Nurbs formula, but being two people working on same kind of problem in different environments, having a certain level of professional discretion, it seems very likely they got the same problem solution proceeding on different paths nearly at the same time.
