Motor 3phase Burned

i have 3phase motor 7hp when i tuned it burned ??????

what is a problem ?

The winding insulation are alredy broken due to some reason before it tuned, let says: insulation ageing, contamination from the environment, bad maintenance and etc.

Or the voltage implemented is too high let say 220V motors is applied on 480 Volt.

Make sure all three phases are available, its has cooling air available, what ever it is driving moves freely, It may have just been its time,when you start the new one check voltage and amperage against name plate.

What is your motor rated voltage and your incoming voltage? Are they same rated voltage?

What do you mean by "tuned" anyway? Was it connected to a Vector Drive?
