Here's a silly idea. Why don't you contact Caterpillar for a tool kit list. I'm sure they will gladly send you one if you pay them and/or fill out a non-disclosure contract. They did put a little effort into designing this engine. (Obviously much more effort than you have in finding out the plans.)

But I must thank you for the polite manner that you've made this request.

Estimated rebuild at >25K depending on condition. Tools to do same and diagnose condition > cost of rebuild.
