I am completely agree with you. just one suggestion.
when i first found this forum, i was in my company where email access to some trainees like me is prohibited. so i could not register. i had to wait till evening and after reaching home i registered myself. till then i was a guest on this site.
this may be happening with others also.
in that case, one can write his/her name at least at bottom.
or admin can make it compulsory to provide email id before asking a question or starting a discussion.
in my opinion revealing identity must be made compulsory
I agree. When I reply to a post I like to know who I am replying to, or who is replying to me. If there are a bunch of guest posting than who knows which one is replying back, guest 1, guest 2 or guest 3. I think you should be registered and signed in to post, this way you can get a feel for who you are replying to.

If you have something of interest or value to add then why should it matter if you are a guest or a member. Judging by some of your recent posts........you have neithermrclean says...... You take a goat to your Doctor appointment?
This forum is for adults not for imature people posting rude comments. You are just makeing out point more clear, why we think you should be registered and signed in to post on here. I don't hide behind the name guest when I post. Yes members do come up with some funny comments from time to time, but as a rule we don't get on here just to make rude pointless comments. A mature minded adult would see my point, becuse it only takes a moment to register and sign in. That's all we want, not peaple hiding behind guest and makeing rude dimwitted comments.
I will no longer reply to scared people hiding behind guest making rude remarks!
