hi sir i am final year BE student . can you give me ideas on fields like vhdl, embedded systems and power electronics which might help for us in our projects.
VHDL and embedded systems are very big and ambitious projects. A school project should be able to be done in very sort time, but require some skill.
You might try taking a uC development board and writing the code to make it do something. If there is a wiring board space on it you could put some drivers for LED or some sort of small motor control.
If you have few people on a project team you could make a simple temp control. Drive a motor for a fan that is based on temperature. If you want use a USB uC and have someone make the human GUI interface.
