Hello,

I have found some TC that are bayonet style spring loaded. The one's that you push and turn CW to latch.

The engine department is worried about this vibrating loose. What is your opinion? It is going on an EMD 654 20 cyl

Thanks again

Andre

I know nothing about your EMD 654 20 cyl engine but if you are willing to ignore your engine engineering department by listening to me, I say go for it. This looks like a relatively harmless way for you to show your true colors and respect for the knowledge and wisdom your colleagues have over their domain. I mean, what do they know really. You've gone through that entire safety training class knowing that none of that stuff was gonna happen to you. The entire lot of engineers are just a group of timid worriers that are just going to hold you back. Show them what kind of a guy you really are.

Oh is an EMD 654 20 cyl really a 654 cubic inch 20 cylinder diesel engine or the GMC EMD 654 series diesel locomotive engine with 10,000 cubic inches capable of 4,300 hp?
