There's a little box on the right of this screen as I write my post, underneath the words "Logged in as artsmith". The box says "I want to post anonymously". If I tick that box, I will appear as a guest. If I untick the box I will appear as artsmith.

Even if you do post as a guest, you are not anonymous if you sign your post. I've met other helpful 'guests' who signed their post, and I'll remember them because of it. So if you can't fix the problem by unticking the "anonymously" box, keep signing Stub. People will get to know you.
