I'd hate to see what my answers would look like if the primary language of this forum was French, or Farsi, or Nepalese...

I took 4 years of French in school and apart from being able to comment on the beautiful snow and asking about going skiing, I'm pretty much useless. I got myself in real trouble in Switzerland once when I tried sing my French language skills.

Absolutely correct. If this forum was in anything but English I would not attempt to offer some technical knowledge. Come to think of it, likely at least half of these fractured English questions will have been software based translations into English by somebody not knowing what they should be asking in their native language. With the multiple languages that Wikipedia supports, maybe we should start directing people to look there.
