Numarical on Thermodynamic

09/03/2010 12:17 PM

please tell me the procedure to solve this question.......

a turbo compressor delivers 2.33m^3/s at 0.276Mpa, 43°c which is heated at this pressure to 430°c ane finally expanded in a turbine which delivers 1860kW .During the expansion ,there is aheat transfer of 0.09MJ/s to the surroundings . Calculate the turbine temperature if change in kinetic and potential energy are negligible....

ans=157°c

thanking u in anticipation

Energy balance with the assumption about the turbine material and hence its specific heat.
