Dear All,

According to AISC 2005-Seismic Provisions-using cable or rod for permanent bracing is acceptable or not?

Don't know about AISC provisions, but rods are typically used for bracing in metal buildings. Towers are braced with cables. So I think the answer is yes...they are both acceptable.
