Parylene

Hi,

I would like to know what other products(Chemicals) besides soap can be use to prevent parylene to be glued to aluminum.

Paralene coats by vapour deposition, could you mask with Kapton adhesive tape or similar?

Seems we used to use 3M (not an endorsement) platers tape. The adhesive stayed with the tape and didn't leave much residue.

It's still difficult to remove the unwanted Parylene. You'll have to surgically separate it from the desired coating.
