AT&C losses means Aggregate Technical & Commercial Losses.

AT&C loss captures technical as well as commercial losses in the network and is a true indicator of total losses in the system.

High technical losses in the system are primarily due to inadequate investments over the years for system improvement works, which has resulted in unplanned extensions of the system, overloading of the system elements like transformers and conductors, and lack of adequate reactive power support.

The commercial losses are mainly due to low metering efficiency, theft etc. This may be eliminated by improving metering efficiency, proper energy accounting & auditing.

Interesting, in the space of a week you've gone from asking basic questions to answering quite complex ones.

I get the feeling in this case YOU asked the initial question and then 10 minutes later answered it. Nice try but no GA. We could all sit and read a text books and then post mock questions and answers.

The big disadvantage of this board is that a "Guest" can ask questions.

HeHe and answer them! But I then wouldn't resort to such things.

Hello my dear,

I have little knowledge in electrical field but dont't have as you. I am a B.Tech holder. That simple questions was my basic doubts. Most of the questions that getting posted here are complex. But I feel no shame to ask my basic doubts.

I don't need to get such a credit as you said and I am not cheap to do such a trying. I answered him because I am interested in tech field but it is not to get a GA.

If you have doubt just try to find the IP address of the systems that posted question and answer. Then find the locations. Both will be from different locations. Now I am in UAE.

Anyway a request to the guest; please reveal your identity.
