Relay Clarification

Need some help to confirm if the relay contacts in the link below can handle .5 amp @ 120VAC. The contacts of the relay wire to a Quantum Digital input module. The data sheet shows inductive loads for make and break. I'm using this relay to wire to a digital input module which I believe is a resistive load. I believe this is not an issue just need some confirmation.

You'll have no problem with the relay.

Just out of interest what are you using a Quantum PLC or drive.

The bit of the datasheet with the table of current-handling is a bit confusing - the "Make/Break" section is refering to DC only.

The important reference is "B300" (you'll find it listed in table 5 on page 1-40 of the Safety Products catalog, which also gives Utilization Category details).

As Tony said, you'll have no problem.

You'll have no problem, but make sure the resistance of the relay contacts dont interfere with the required resistance of your load. However the manufacturer is your best bet.
