Plant Watering Survey

09/15/2010 1:44 PM

Hello my name is Sean I represent the Engineering Design and Development class at the Blue Valley Center for Advanced Professional Studies. In this course we set out to find a relevant problem; domesticated plants are watered inefficiently. At this point in the design process we are looking for expert feedback on the care of lawn and/or other plants to help solidify our problem statement. It would be greatly appreciated if you could spend a few minutes of your time participating in the survey regarding this issue.----------http://www.surveymonkey.com/s/NFS2RVF------------------Sean Blue Valley North High

OK,

I took the survey. It took less that 5 minutes.

"I bet you just coloured it in solid black"

Very likely. The black highlighter pen is a new addition to the LynDoor® Industries catalog. We have high hopes for sales volume of this useful product, along with the inflatable dartboard, can opener in a can, battery powered battery charger, and checkered paint.

My modest partner failed to mention his own invention, destined to be a major coup in the office products market, white correction fluid in a spray can for making major revisions to pre-existing documents.

It brings a whole new meaning to white-out.

How's about the car lock de-icer which plugs into the car's cigarette lighter.
Years ago, one of the Electronics hoby mags ran a 'how to build' for one of those... I think it was the April edition.

I tried to take the survey, but got stuck on the first question. Was is meant by "inefficient watering of plants"? And what is the problem this causes? I can come up with all sorts of possible answers to these two primary issues, but none of my ideas are applicable to the rest of the survey...

I think you need to restate your problem statement. Was it originally written by Al Gore, or did the UN or US Congress help with the problem statement?

Agreed - it was a good start but needs many more specific questions to get anywhere.

Mixing farmers with nurserymen with gardeners with housewives is difficult. Any farmer that doesn't understand watering properly won't be in business long.

My father used the cistern from a mens urinal (periodic flush) with a length of gutter with holes in it to water his tomatoes.
