Synchronous Generator Selection Software

Hi friends, I am in process of making suitable selection of syn generator for a micro hydro scheme. Do any one of you have idea on software, which allows us to choose a suitable generator ( where electrical load plus other important factors are also taken into account). Looking forward to your kind cooperation, Thank you.

By factors, I mean like ambient temperature, altitude, derating factors, rated electrical input parameters (voltage, current, pf, frequency, phase etc), efficiency. If we have any software, I guess there will be flexibility and ease in checking optimal generator size varying series of these data. Could you plz suggest any.

Most dealers have access to this software for Cat, Cummins-Onan etc. I am not aware of any such software for generic applications however.

I feel yet another attack of the "Merle" syndrome coming on again.

At least it's down to micro now, the swelling must be getting better. Perhaps it will disappear given time.
