Restaurants in Madrid, Spain

They list the prices for a 3 course meal, as well for a single one. In smaller cities, prices could be lower. If this company provides hotel and a better salary that you have had before, go for it! You will see the world!

If that's all you're getting it's not enough. But if they're paying you a salary and your accommodation bills, and the €35 is just for food and drink, you should be able to live on it.

Cheers.........Codey

Also buy a EurRail pass before you get there. It's a lot cheaper when you buy it from your country than if you buy it in Spain, and you can use it to travel all over the country for free. (At least it used to be--haven't traveled to Yurp for a couple of years)

Hello Guest.

As the other respondents indicate, you don't give sufficient information as to what the Company provide apart from the subsistence amount.

If you have to pay for meals , find a restaurant where manual workers have their lunch. Wear earplugs after ordering.

You should always go for the menu del dia & pay 7 to 9 euros for 4 courses plus vino o agua, and take a plastic bag or container for the remainder of the massive quantities of meat they give you, that you can make the basis of tomorrows meal.

Don't know anything about Antolin. Make sure you get paid. You are well protected in law provided you can afford to wait ten years.

Hi;

35€/day it's enough if, as other colleagues said, your company paid the Trip and Hotels in Spain. The domestic transportation how you will do? By rental car? by public transport? this concept I think maust be payed by your company if you have to move around all the Antolin plants (there are 5 in Spain)

The food is good in everywere generally, I recomend to get a.s.a.p some friend in the plant and tell him clearly your situation and asking where you can enjoy the good of the place for good price. The normal menu is about 8-10€

Antolin Group you can see in Internet what they do, not? www.grupoantolin.com

I hope that information could help you.

Grupo Antolín (headquarters in Burgos) is one of the leading industries in the automotive field(Car interior panels etc) and I think 35 €/ day could do for a living, provided that you will have breakfast and lunch at the Company Premises, in labor days. I think they are giving you 35 € per day plus something for the hotel or pension.

I think a good chance that you could come to Spain to work in one of the factories of Grupo Antolín, and to be able to enjoy living in Spain.

Grupo Antolín has a very modern work organisation and is a lieder in I+D+i in its field.

Burgos is very cold in winter time

I have not worked for Antolin but I know a lot of them.

I always keep to the reality I see.

Best regards,

Good luck.

If it is only to meet extra expences & hotelling & meals, transport will be provided on expence of firm then it will meet just extra expences.

Normally all firms provide all the above to their employees an attractive sum to work even in their country in another location otherwise nobody will be bearing all such expences for the company's job.

Have a fine Day!

As far as I understand it 35 Euro is the Daily provision regardless what cost you have. If you stay under you make money if you have higher costs you claim on expenses. In the end you are there for the company. Thye can not possible mean you loose money while working.

Check your contract if yuo can additionally claim on expenses.

Otherwise leave it.

Further to the above. If you are thinking of driving in Spain make certain that all your documentation and that of the vehicle is 100% in order, otherwise 35e will be as nought.

Trafico, part of the Guardia Civil , have apparently been awarded an across the board pay cut, which has been made more palatable (for them) by the access to bonuses according to the fines (multas) they can bring in.
