Electromechanical pluging device

09/27/2010 2:35 PM

I want to design a device as picture shown below

I want all parts are made of stainless steel except rotatable "Door plate".

Is it possible?

Can the coil holding ring (underneath the magnetic coil) made of stainless steel?

Anyone has similar design experience before?

or anyone can provide information for such a design?

Million thanks

What's it supposed to do hold the door closed until released? That's about all it would do and it wouldn't be very good at that made of stainless.

Go and have another go at your homework.

They make things like this. They are called "solenoid valves".
