Four Quadarant Characristics of Pumps

Can anybody provide me sufficient resources for the four quadarant characteristics of pumps ? Is there any book or websites or book.? four quadrant charactristics means pump operate as turbine reverse flow and problem occur in industry due to reverse flow and energy dissipation in pumps

I presume this is for axial centrifugal pumps. Should be somewhat similar to axial or centrifugal fans curves, which has a brief discussion in the book "Fan Engineering". I can not find my copy or I would send a PDF of the two or three pages of discussion.
