Signal Booster - Analog

Hello everybody. I have a problem. I want to boost up the analog signal.

Lets see i have an analog signal of 1-10 Volt. lets the signal is 4 volt or 5 volt or what ever let suppose 6volt. i want to make an arrangement that whenever i press a push button signal will rise up and when i release the push button it will go down on its previous stage.

suppose signal is 7volt on VFD. i want to speed up my motor for just few seconds just for 2 seconds or one second. now i want a arrangement that when i push a button signal will start rising from 7 volt to towards 10 volt.and whenever i release the push signal become again on 7 volt.

how can i implement this.

If you have a 10v supply a resistor or two, a capacitor and a push button will do it, maybe add a diode for good luck?

Why not simply use a potentiometer? You can turn it up or down at will.

Use an amplifier and a switch. Pushing the button switches the amp IN, releasing it switches it OUT.
