Body Volume Index

10/18/2010 6:55 AM

Essentially "Body Mass Index" isn't the right obesity measurement to use going forward in this day and age, it simply doesn't work. Where as "Body Volume Index" does. BVI offers a brand new way of measuring the abdominal area, which BMI simply cannot do.

BVI is specifically designed to calculate risk factors associated with a person's body shape and type, through analysis of weight and body fat distribution. Therefore, if BVI was intergrated into the NHS, this would save millions of pounds, also the NHS would be able to make a return on the investment by selling BVI 3D scanners. Have a look at this site and view the presentation from the home page - www.bodyvolume.com

Thank you for pointing out the wonderful new machine you are selling.

Now, take it to the commercial side where it belongs. People on this side like proof that new contraptions designed to separate people from their money have some redeeming value. Where's yours?

BVI is no BFD!

Goody Another BS Site to give my critical thinking class for a final exam. I wonder if they will say "Professor, The site doesn't give a single traceable name of a principal it is not credible because it is anonymous, just like graffiti."

Any website that demand s your identification before giving you theirs is obviously ill considered if not outright criminal intent by hiding behind anonymity.

What's to hide?

PS to critical thinkers, Is the Human population homogeneous? Is "body volume normally distributed? Is the original statistical premise of 200 years ago still relevant in a world with improved diet and hybridization as a result of increased global travel and social change. How many statistically different populations will have to be defined and characterized? What about the folks who fall into "the long Tail?"

Or you could step on a scale and determine that 300 pounds is too much for your 5' 2" frame...

Nice job Lynlynch

Maybe a sucker is born every minute, but not too many of them find a home here.

Cheers.
