Fire Suppression Calculation - Amount of FM200 Needed for Data Center

Hi,

Would you please let me know, how i can calculate the amount of FM200 needed (how many cylinders)for data center?

is there any formula for this issue?

please help me ,it is very urgent.

I would suggest you contact companies like Fike or Amerex who design and sell FM200 systems. They both have websites.

The volume of FM-200 depends on volume of the protected area, which is in this case the Data Center. Cylinders come in different sizes, so you can get 2 small ones instead of one large cylinder, if you want, so the number of cylinder doesn't really matter. In addition AHJ may require you to install reserve cylinder, which is exactly same size as the main one. There are formulas that engineer will be using to prepare submittal for AHJ, if you never done that then it's better to contact professionals.
