Lets see...

We utilize "socket" when we plug something into it.

We utilize "heating" when it is cold out.

We utilize "lighting" when it is dark out.

We utilize "motor load" when our motor does some work.

And we demand "sockets" to plug things into and a "heating" system if we live in cold areas. Having "lighting" to enjoy our heating system is also a demand of ours. As to motors... we demand a motor to move air in our heating system.

Bottom line... useless questions get useless answers.

I'm not so sure. Weren't we looking for a torpedo test pilot?

And he certainly outwits this guy: Experiments Done in Space

Torpedo test pilot... That's pretty good!

Unredundant, could we use that compass? I do not know if our new crew member has one of his own.

IEC BS NEC different definitions

UF is mainly used for load cal in europe and countries following standard

DF is NEC term and applied to individual loads

both of them <1

for further refrences please see T A short book on distribution

,NEC 2008 ,

organizations develop these based on their experinces so dont get confused

it is same definition, depending which standard you are using

for the values you are asking about, I guess you are calculating the required power of a building, it depends on the number of deviceconnected, if you have only one heater than your factor is 1 , if you have 100 for example it can drop below 0.5

regards

hi

for lighting 1 DF

for sockets it is 0.5

for motor it is 0.8 but again check the largest motor *125 % more

heating it is 1 if >40 use 0.5 factor
