Look in hand book.

are you talking about car,lorry,bus,airplane,generator,Jet,boat,submarine,??

fuel lpg.petrol,diesel ??

if car it varies 10000 to 15000

Why cos it gets dirty, there are detergents in oil to keep engine clean these break down over time and need to be replaced.

Diesel engine oil gets very dirty very quickly.

some of the dirt is colected by the oil filter and these needs replacing at intervals otherwise it stops working

These bottles of snake oil go on ad nausium.

It's your car, but if you ever sell me your car, let me know you have been using an additive so I can move on to the next seller.

Oil companies work very hard to produce an optimum blend. If this cr@p was really any good it would already be in the oil in the first place.

Just my engine and transmission in my car has a replacement cost of $50,000. However, the manufacture is perfectly happy to warranty my engine to 100,000 miles or 6 - 7 years with an extended warranty as long as I use Mobil One and change it regularly. That's how much confidence the manufacture has in their drivetrain and Mobile One. Good enough for me.

Don't put this in your car, change your oil as per the manufacture's recommendation and sleep at night.

I agree wth AH (GA), engine oil manufacturers work with the engine manufacturers to develop the correct blend for varied engines, vehicles, climates, etc. If they wanted your admixture in their product, they would buy some of it (or the patent), and it would be in the container when I purchased for end use.

I also agree with the guest who commented about the ethics of your approach. As a member for three years, you should know by now that 'below board' or 'hidden pitch' deals and dealers are usually treated with contempt. If I were ever inclined to consider an oil additive, I will not be considering any product from this manufacturer.

My opinion is that your posts seem to be a thinly-veiled advertisement. I won't be visiting those sites.

If you want to peddle your fluids to suckers, that's fine. But don't do it here.

There are as many answers to this question as there seems to be drivers or mechanics. It really depends on the driving style of the person operating the unit. I choose to change the oil in my Ford Ranger every 3,000 miles. I have 325,000 miles on the 3.0 V-6 in it. Never been touched except to for normal maintenance items. On the other-hand my Mazda 626 of 1988 version, I change the oil at 4000 miles. Same issue on this unit at 250,000 miles engine has not been touched except normal maintenance items. On both units I do pull oil analysis on a by oil change basis and to-date no signs of internal wear. So as I said, it depends on ones driving habits. I have known of people with similar motor vehicles who have not been as lucky with engines as I have and maybe not changed oil the same or drive differently. Might be a good study for some new engineer coming out of school and wants to do a thesis.

What does the manufacturer of the equipment recommend. The same engine can be used in different applications. The equipment manufacturer may use couple different engines on the same equipment. Each one requiring different intervals as to when the oil should be changed. These many applications can place varied stresses on the motor. Which the manufacture is well aware of. He uses them to recommend frequency of oil changes. So I change it more often then the manufacture recommends. Better to be on the safe side. Improved lubrication will extend the life of the motor from more frequent changes. Inspection of the drained oil can give tell tale signs of other problem. Catching them early can keep them from doing motor damage.
