mechanism??

if you are asked to suggest.

which type of mechanism you would prefer, to be fitted on a system having width=1.67m, height=50mm, & length = 1m. so as it can transfer a load of 340kg/m.

If asked such a question, I would ask the submitter to clarify the question with more information.

There are lots of "mechanisms" in transfer systems. Which one are you refering to? What is this "mechanism" supposed to do within the system? What type of transfer system are you dealing with? What are you trying to transfer?...

Without more, distinct information, no one is going to be able to help you.

It would also be helpful to know the shape of the load! ie, will it stay on a belt, would a pick and place unit be of any assistance?
