Do you mean a one-shot timer? Rather than keep guessing, can you tell us more exactly just what you wish to accomplish? What is/are the time cycle, the start and stop mechanism, operate with car running or not... those sort of things.
In Google I searched "automotive time delay relay" and came up with tons of hits. Now you just need to pick whether it is normally open contacts or normally closed. Or both.
Try under that search title.

I have some from Amprite, at www.amprite.com. I have been buying them from Allied.
These are delay on break. I also use some delay on start ones from NCC. National Controls Corp. 800-323-2593. Also from Allied. These are 2"x 2" x.5" they are low current (1-2A) so use load carrying relays with them. The on delay is cheap. The off delay is about $30. Try www.alliedelect.com. Good luck.
