2000 Cavalier Won't Start

2000 cavalier won't start....changed wires and it is getting spark also changed fuel filter and fuel pressure regulator. sprayed starting fluid in throttle and it starts and stops when fluid burns out. if i hold my hand over throttle body to "choke" the motor it tries to start but shuts off. is this a air control problem and if so what sensor needs replaced or is it something else?.

Please do a search on Cavalier in the Search all of CR4.

There have been so many requests for remedies on cavaliers that the search will give you more information than a factory service manual.

never use starting fluid in a fuel injected car

Check out some of the past threads on checking the electric fuel pump. If you can not find them, just post back, and I will help you. Good luck.

Have you checked the timing belt? It might be out of time.

Nah it's got to be the cigarette lighter has been stuck in place and drained the battery.

Ah yes, the old cigarette lighter stuck in place malfunction. How could I forget about that.
