Centrifugal Compressor Calculation

air enters a centrifugal compressor at 1 bar and leaves at 2.1 bar during the passage of the air through the compressor, the sspecfic internal energy of the air increase by 56kj/kg, and the specific volume decreases from 0.825 m3/kg. assuming that the flow is adiabatic and the changes in kinetic energy is negligble,calculate the power required to drive the compressor when the air flow rate is 135kg/min

  • Do your own homework. CR4 is not a homework cheat site. While some here might relish the opportunity to sharpen up old rusty skills by working the homework problem, consider this and consider it well. If you cheat on your homework by using someone else's answers, you are only cheating yourself, because the purpose of any homework or other college assignments is to help you learn - by practice, repetition, and self-discovery.
