Selecting the Circuit Breaker Rating

How to select the circuit breaker rating ? in my project connected load is 2451KW ,maximum demand 1960KW(@ diversity of 1.25).Its based on connected load or maximum demand?

The CB needs to be selected according to the current it has to handle. You need to calculate based on kVA, not kW. Moreover, the CB is a protective device, and it must have short-circuit ratings adequate for your application.

You have a project, connected load, maximum demand already. So there will be details of Circuit breaker also available. Better you search your college books to know How to select a fuse or breaker. Correct way of saying the diversity factor is percentage of connected load. so in this case - at 0.8.
