Diesel Engine Oil

What is different about Rotella oil used in diesel engines, compared to something like Castrol or Pennzoil used in gasoline engines?

One thing I know about Rotella is it contains polymer.

I think it is higher detergant and maybe sulfer/zinc. I am sure they will say on the rotella web site
