Buchloz Relay Problem

50 mva ,132KV/33KV transformer of star/star yyn0 vector group . the buchloz relay is acting for external faults i.e for 33KV feeder external faults ..

For external fault Bucholoz relay should not operate but I think due to the heavy fault and location of the fault is near transformer Bucholoz could act falsely due to the vibrations.

i think due to havy fault in out side .oil beacaome heat up and increase its volume,so trip the transformer.

no,no the bucholtz will operate only if there is an issue with the trfx.a minor oil leak or significant internal winding issue will blow the bucholtz.nothing else,i should know.
