Photographic Images Over High Density Foam

11/21/2010 2:06 PM

I am looking for a manufacturer that can overlay a durable photographic image over a high density foam. Can anybody steer me in the right direction?

Mike,

I try to understand...

here my advice: Take High Durable Phote and GLUE with apropriate GLUE onto Foam.

If I am not wrong taken it will make you the Manufacturer! Heh now only to sort out where to get teh Photo and teh glue.

Never mind....

Hi Mike,

You are looking for a signage company! preferably one with a flat bed printer, who could print directly on to your foam (Celuka).

Alternatively one who can print onto vinyl, then laminate this print onto foam.

Durability shouldn't be a problem, we use 7 year outdoor quality UV stable vinyls here in Oz, if we're near enough I'd be happy to quote!

Hi Mike,

I do coating process development at a company that specializes in powder coating plastic and composite materials. I agree with the fellow who recommended the printed vinyl direction. We have done a clear powder coat as a top coat over printed vinyl on polyurethane RIM panels, the results are extremely durable. (<2.4 delta E @ 7 years). We are in Wisconsin, I would also be very happy to offer a quote.
