If you're a student try asking some of the major manufactures for technical spec guides and info . From their point of view you may be a potential buyer one day . I got some great freebies this way when I was a student . They may act differently now that the www is about , but it's worth a shot.

there are many manufacturers of hydraulic pumps and motors. these are USA, UK and European base primerily but may have their plants elsewhere.

Bosch, Eaton, Rexroth, IMO, Maag, Vicker's,Denison, Oilgear, Charlyn, Sunstrand and many others which are just as good. they do manufacture hyd. pumps and motors, as well as in some cases, other hydraulic items. I am sure you will be able to get some data/ info./spec. on the 'GlobalSpec' Search Engine itself. hope you do get the right data whatever you are looking for.

Take a look at the Basic Ebook at www.hydraulicspneumatics.com Chapter 8 covers pumps and Chapter 15 has info on motors.
