Magnetised Blood Probe

03/21/2007 12:08 PM

Hi

i am looking for ideas on how to make a probe that would set into the human body. the idea is that for instance, in a glioma brain tumor, chemo has a hard time to penetrate the cell membranes. first i would use a magnetised say positive + a small metallic pill , that could be coated for corrosion , and would be lodged into the tumor or and its veins and arteries. then , the chemo would charged negative, so it would stick to the tumor and even could penetrate into it.

in order to accelerate the process, i was thinking about a centrifuge that would pull down the blood from the brain with enough g force but not kill the patient , then, a pressure fighter pilot suite would help the heart to pump back with the good news into the tumor , the vacuum factor would certainly help remove some cells on the way down.

the probe could be surgically put into the tumor or via a cathetere .

this could be used for other cancers or deseases as well.

if the positive probe could even be heat sensitive to microwave and heat the tumor that would weaken it like viruses.

any ideas ?

thanks a million

There was some research down here in one of the Houston medical research institutions where they used small hollow glass beads coated with a thin metalization. They injected the beads into the tumor then used - I think it was a laser - to heat up the beads. I don't remember all the details.

But, if you can get the metal pill into the tumor with a catheter, why not just use the catheter to inject the chemo?

that is being done to my friend at the moment, but the cetheter has to come through the inside of the leg up, like what they do for pluging a anevriste, but, this is not like a (troy horse) , they have a hard time penetrating the cells membrane. if i remember correctly, the heating procedure involves microwaves. they tried std pill chemo and radiotherapy, but the tumor decided to do the blitz around belgium and split into two. these things gliomablastome multiform are nasty and have strategies ... little hitlers. i told my friend that when dogs have prostate cancer, they castrate them and it stops if early enough, my friend doesnt want to risk castration ...

i got the idea about the troy probe from a story i read in a book about a researcher lady who dropped one drop of metylmercury... onto her latex gloved finger, she did not bother washing, and it penetrated through the glove, skin, cell membranes and killed her 9 months later. so, knowing that the theory makes sence.

i thought also about hypothermia , hyperthermia, starvation, alcoholism, hyperbar chamber or a combo of them, but my friend wants to go one step at a time, cant blame him. in 1989 my mother ate only raisins for 6 months trying to cure her colon cancer, didnt work.

thanks for replying, ill keep trying.

I remember a while back hearing about a new form of laser cancer treatment. The idea was to have 3 laser beams gyrate around the body (scanning fashion, no intrusion) and would "burn" the diseased cells only where the 3 lasers would meet. Once they had succesfully "mapped" the infected region, they could let the lasers burn one cell at a time (they were testing this on brain cancer, if memory serves...). I haven't heard from the technology since but it seemed promising.

There's also this site that works with nano technology/laser and seems to be closer to what you are developping.

Regards,

R.

i beleive he had that technology, he had a mesh mask like sword fighters, i called him the ninja ... they preprogrammed the beams and left the room , the computer did the rest. Lasers ? that would be nice, could be gamma rays. My other friend is working on laser scanners on mise. that would be faster for results, ie more patients per machine.

i will check that site you mentionned. i just had infos from cnrc canada talking about light at night and brest cancer occurences. especially for evening and night workers. one advice is sleep in total darkness, and if a light shoots toward your windows, redirect it.

Interesting...I'll have to do some research on this "light" thing...I've never heard about this before. Good luck with your project.

Rick.

Yellowcat,

I know it's been awhile but...

I believe this article is what I heard of...they use intensity-modulated radiation therapy (IMRT) focused by multiple lower-intensity beams crossing at the intended targets. Hope all is well on your side...

regards,

Rick.
