what is the difference between pentium d and core2dou? are they same processors with different names? if you know please send me reply.

No, they are not the same processor. For technical information, see the Intel website below:

For an old comparsion review (way back from 2006!) done by Tom's Hardware, see the link below:

If you really are a 12 year old (as you claimed in a different identical thread), are you really asking what the technical difference is or do you just need someone to tell you which is the "better" processor?

Pardon me, I made an error. That comparison was done by Anandtech, not Tom's Hardware.

Both very good sources, though.
