Fuel Oil Resistant Adhesives

12/05/2010 11:30 PM

Hi everybody,

I am looking for an adhesives which are RESISTANT TO FUEL OILS.

Application: This adhesive is used to rubber line the inner surface of a shell. Shell's interior surface would be liner with Nitrile rubber and this adhesive is used in between the rubber and shell to stick it.

Can anybody suggest the adhesives which are RESISTANT TO FUEL OILS?

Polysulfide rubber(sometimes referred to as Thiokol) is fuel resistant. it was used to seal the fuel tanks on the SR-71 Blackbird. It is also used as a tooling compound.

Check it out.
