I'm not sure. If you open the control panel and find your back-up settings, it should be there.

Someone here will know for sure.

Hi, dear user - Windows XP SP2 2003,

Windows in its great wisdom, there is no option in the rescue disk. is to save all your work files, there are programs that do, or contact the support service.
I can not promise a good answer, I've tried.
My solution to this fascinating subject, is to have double of everything, and pointed out my machine (blessed external drives).
It's like upgrading your machine, there is no way to transfer your programs, be a slave to a few hours at the screen, and almost as finish,
then comes the updates, and many more hours.
The problem is that after leaving the program to the market, they realized that they overlooked some simple changes ...
Everything is for our safety, and sometimes do not work, or other things stop working
Can you imagine life without Windows.
I miss Windows 3.11

Best Regards

All hail windows 3.11, the most friendly of all the gods. Note to engineers and programmers: Every time you improve something that doesn't really need improving it costs me time, aggravation, money or some combination of the three. Please knock it off.

Guest,

Please clarify your situation. Are you trying to create a Rescue CD or a Recovery CD? Kramarat's right, the first one is pretty easily Googled, but the second is an entirely different sort of situation. The two sound similar, but there's a world of difference. It all depends on what you're trying to do.

Hi,

You can'nt make it as it already made.

1: Put "windows xp installer cd" into cd or dvd drive.

2: Boot the computer.

3: Follow the screen instructions.

4: Choose "Repair" from options.

Thats done. Have fun.

Guest,

Sorry it's taken me a while to get back to this thread. The previous poster is correct, assuming you have an install CD, sometimes called a Recovery CD. If you don't, it gets a little complicated, depending on whether your machine is store-bought or homemade. You may have to contact the manufacturer to buy a Recovery CD if you don't have one. Or, there may be a Recovery Partition already on your hard drive. Contacting the manufacturer would be a good first step if you're not sure.

Regards,

Logan
