Your question is too general. You will only get a general answer.

Such as:

  • They both have equipment
  • They both have instruments
  • They both have high pressure piping and low pressure piping
  • They both have high temperature piping and low temperature piping
  • They both have operators
  • They both have maintenance workers
  • etc.

They also have differences within their own family.

Power Plants:

  • There are Solar Power Plants
  • There are Geothermal Power Plants
  • There are Fossil Fuel burning Power Plants
  • There are Coal Fired Power Plants
  • There are Nuclear fueled Power Plants

There are Process Plants for:

  • Refining Oil
  • Producing Chemicals
  • Processing Foods
  • Pharmaceuticals
  • Paint
  • Plastic
  • Rubber
  • Paper
  • Purifying water
  • Treating Waste

I suggest you be more specific in you questions.

Also is this part of your homework?
