Doubt - Relation Between Weight of Fan to Performance

is there any relation between weight of a fan to its performance..? weight of the fan will affect the performance of a fan..? please clear my doubt..

Put a brick on top of your fan and see.

If you're talking about a fan blade, then the answer is yes - in a way. The amount of air a fan blade can push is (all else being equal) related to the speed at which it spins. The heavier the blade, the slower the same motor can turn it.

If you assume the speed will always be a constant, the mass of the blade is irrelevant. At least down to the point at which lightweight blades might flex and become less able to push air. And conversely up to the point at which very dense blades will form a black hole, largely preventing you from enjoying any breeze at all.
