Can you please rewrite your question and provide more information as I am not sure exactly what you are asking. Are you asking what grades of steel are suitable for a nuclear site/application?

If this is for a job or tender then please consult the tender/customer or material standards information regarding requested/required grades of materials.

Please provide more information on your question and specific application details.

Do you mean for steam turbines?

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Turbine

I don't think special steel is necessary (just steel suitable for steam) as (from my understanding) the steam is in a closed loop system and as such not contaminated with radioactive particles that could effect standard steel.

Steam turbine blade steel varies from other grades of steel used in automotive applications because of the wildly different applications. This sounds like a homework question, do you understand that the differences between the different steel alloys make them more suitable for certain applications than others?

I know that in case of Stainless Steel always material is used without Cobalt and Molybdenum. The reason is that these materials can become radioactive (Isotope Co-60, Mo-99) when applied in radiation areas.
