Air Conditioning for Car Delivery Section

01/21/2011 6:44 AM

For one of the car show room client wants the car delivery section to be air conditioned and it will have exhaust to take out the smoke of the car engine. The location is such that the front will be fully open for the car to exit.Best way to give once through AC which will not be economical and the air from front opening may intrude if the velocity of outside air is more with inrush of dusts out door polutants. The area is around 400 Sq Feet

Please suggest a better way to AC this area economically

I have a better idea. Why not quit throwing your new found wealth down the drain trying to outdo the oil rich idiots in the middle east.

Your country is already headed into economic chaos in another 10 years and you are all to arrogant to see it coming.

Put a door on it.

Are you having a bad day today????? Despite I agree with you about the nonsense of waisting energy this way, I also believe there are more polite replies to this question. On the other hand, it is clear that this person is having a hard time to express his ideas / needs in English. Please also let me remind you that YOUR country is responsible for generating most of the greenhouse-effect gases of the ENTIRE PLANET!

I would suggest to stop such discussions which become UNPLEASANT and are not according to CR4 international mentality.

Sorry, but I do not understand your point: do you mean that I am starting an unpleasant discussion? Or are you talking about lylnlynch, who used a disqualifying adjectives on his reply? Anyhow, no unpleasant conversation will occur, as this posting was rapidly removed from the homepage.

I guess the cars have to move? (If not, and even if so, I'm wondering if you can attach (suitable) hoses to the exhaust pipe of the cars to handle the exhaust separately--i.e., not mix it with the conditioned air)? (In the US, many service facilities now use such hoses to get exhaust fumes out of the work area. If you have to use a long hose, you might need an air mover of some sort in the hose (especially to avoid back pressure on the exhaust which might cause the engine to run poorly).

The other thing I'd think about is an air curtain on the front of the area to try to isolate the conditioned area.

How many days / weeks will the car delivery section be in use. For something like a one day or one week auto show, maybe there is no more economical solution than once through air conditioning.

Another possibility might be something like portable air coolers designed to blow cool air at personnel in the area.
