GI Pipes

What treatment we should use to join two GI pipes ???? we need to place those pipe below 20ft from existing ground level so looking kfor treatment with some flexible quality so it can sustain for long

What in the world is "GI" pipe? Galvanized Iron?

I wish peeps would stop using these 3rd world abbreviations that no one knows in the developed world! Guess guess guess, I guess! LOL, but totally frustrating to discern the real focus of the OP......
