Google Chrome is Bad News on CR4

01/25/2011 8:51 AM

Hi all

I recently made Google Chrome my default browser and suddenly posting on CR4 became a nightmare, where I have to use "[P] ... [/P]" to make paragraphs and formatting for Bold and Italics. Post my pictures in ether space to reference them and I can't get links to work.

So now I use good old IE8 for CR4.

Tony

Hi Tonymech,

Unfortunately we are aware of the issue but have no immediate plans to fix it. I'm also a Chrome user and have a pretty good work-around for this and some other sites that don't work so well with Chrome.

I use the IE tab Chrome extension (there may be other versions). You can adjust the settings so websites like CR4 automatically open in an IE tab. You can also click the IE icon that appears in your browser whenever you need functionality like the toolbar that only works in IE.

Hope this helps!
