	why wave traps are connected to single phase & not on three phases in EHV Substation?

	Wave Trap is not part of the power system it is part of the Power Line Carrier Communication system. Simple answer to your question is that for communication channels (or telephone) you need one conductor and earth mass forms the return path. __________________ Knowledge sharing is a WIN-WIN situation
