Cummings Genset With Stamford Generator

I have a 3ph, 50 hz cummings gen set with a Stamford alternator, which is KVA133.75 Could someone please tell me where I can find a wiring diagram for the Stamford generator. It is a used Genset brought out of the UK some years ago but was never commissioned, which is what I want to do now. Any assistance, greatly appreciated. Thanks

Have you taken the obvious first step and searched for it on-line? With the manufacturer?

It might save the forum some time if it knew what you have, or have not, done.

"KVA133.75 Stamford alternator" - This is good info to start with!

Now how about some info off the alternator such as:

Year Built ?

Model Number ?

Serial Number ?

Hopefully there is info either stamped on a metal tag "name plate" or stamped directly on the alternator.

And rated voltage, current , power factor?? British Standard? All rating plate data is useful.

The Metal Plate details are as follows: Stamford Alternator to B.S.S 2613 No.: 84836 / 2 Type: 645 P.F. 0.8 Vol: 415/240 KVA 133.75 PRM 1500 Amps 186 Charging volts Excitation volts 23 Rotor Insulation F Stator Insulation E Rating Cont Hz 50 Phase 3 This is all the info I can find. Thanks for the feedback so far.

Stamford were swallowed by Newage, who were swallowed by Cummins. Cummins site gives Cummins Generator Technologies) it lists Stamford & Markon on start page:-

No other info is available, save what I have now posted. but from the Cummings Engine I found the following: Model : 424B24E/H Serial No.: 26978 RPM 3300 Ring BM 93520 Piston: 185310 Engine No.: F0350 32 Thanks

Its prety easy, Open the terminal box, AVR box(separately mounted). Check the wiring. If you have a basic idea of Brushless generator of someother make, you could fix it... ok,

Hi.

Just both the same Generator b.s.s 2613. 80.0kva

have not pict it up yet.

it have been just as a emergency generator at the ife in norway. so it have maby 50-150 hours of runing time. and service every year most likely. but for the last fue years maby 10 years it have been stored in a garage and never been started.

can you tel me have your rebuilding went. do you have any advice? link? information.
