	Good afternoon milister..... We have a project related to slurry piping. In ASME B31.11, 1991 edition described that only listed material & conform a listed must be apply. My question is, 1. May we apply piping material from other Standard (JIS)? 2. May we use machine bolt to tightening a flange? Thanks Fendy

	Freddy, Yes, JIS materials are acceptable for ASME B31.1 usage. Machine bolts are acceptable for usage on flanged joints in piping

	Mr Guest Do you mean, JIS pipe material accepted for ASME B31.11 (Slurry Transportation Piping)? Because in ASME B31.11 edition 1991 chapter 3, we should propose a petition to the CODE Committee for approval. I didn't have a latest edition (2002). I 'm still curious.
