02/01/2011 11:25 AM

I can't get an answer from CR4, so does anyone know how to paste in a post?

Which browser are you using? What operating system? What are you trying to paste? If it's text and Windows you can type CTRL+V and paste. (Or right click your mouse and hit paste.)

If you're trying to paste an image or other file you'll need to follow the instructions for adding an image - keep in mind that the toolbar doesn't display in most browsers other than Internet Explorer or Firefox.

Firefox and W7. It's just text; I copy it and do a right-click in the post, but there is no option to paste. I'll try the Cntl+V.

You can also try clicking the 'Bypass "Custom" Menu...' button (which should show up in your right-click menu for CR4); this should give you the normal right-click menu functionality.

CTRL+V should work no matter what and is a good shortcut for pasting. CTRL+C is the shortcut for copy.

That does bring up a new menu, but most of the choices are grayed out.

You need to have something copied onto your clipboard. Then when you call up the menu the applicable choice will be available.

Wow, Cntl+V works! Thanks so much. My right-click menu just has undo, redo, bypass custom menu and close as choices.
